Though we prefer to speak directly with people who have questions regarding our services we appreciate that for some questions a quick answer can be best.

Why should I register with Staff UK Bolton?

Since 1992 we’ve been supplying temporary, temporary-to-permanent and permanent staff for a variety of job roles in the North West; but, as our clients work nationally, we also supply throughout the UK.

We’re committed to getting the best people for our clients and the best job for you. Just as you are interviewed face-to-face, every client is visited on site to understand the work environment and job roles first-hand.

How does the recruitment process work?

The recruitment process starts with filling out an application form. This might seem a bit daunting but you will only need to do it once. It is absolutely necessary and is a legal requirement, as is having scanned copies of your identification documents.

Once you’ve completed your form you will have your interview. This is as much a chance for you to tell us about what you want to do – in both the short and long term – as it is for us to get to know you so we can offer suitable work.

Next we will check your references. It is important to give us as much information as possible so that we can do this quickly. We cannot offer you work until your references have been obtained.

You will then be added to our books and we can ring you to give you information about new vacancies.

What happens when I start working for Staff UK Bolton?

Once you’ve started work, we would like you to keep in regular contact with us to let us know that you are still enjoying work or if you have any issues. We can find another job for you if you are unhappy with the one you have taken. We understand that not every job suits everyone and it isn’t a problem if you decide you want to change jobs.

If on a temporary assignment, you will be paid on a Friday the week after the week you have worked. You are paid every Friday a week in arrears.

Our holiday year runs from January to December. You are entitled to holidays which must be booked with a minimum of two week’s notice in writing for any time you want to take, including bank holidays. You will accrue holidays for the hours you work.

 How do I contact you if I need to?

We will give you a card with all our contact details on. Don’t worry if you lose this card as all this information is given on our main office number answer machine message when the office is closed.
